Small group art sessions aboard Milton Keynes Community Boat, Electra 2025 Sat 26th April 10am - Roses & Castles Spoons Sat 17th May 10am - Pen & Wash Sketchbook - During this gentle two and a half hour return cruise on the canal between Campbell Wharf and Great Linford Wharf. Liddy will teach how to make effective use of composition, to put together a creative layout across a few sketchbook pages and how to observe and work in response to the environment you're in by creating artwork on location, before starting on a watercolour painting. We'll provide materials and a sketchbook for you to keep too. About our art activities. You'll be guided by our very friendly, and knowledgeable art tutor, Liddy. Join us to Sketch in the Park! This open-air sketching class in the beautiful country park will provide you with the skills necessary to create great preliminary drawings for your paintings . Guided by Liddy we'll begin with some gentle drawing exercises and then get out on a planned route around the park as we take a number of different scenes. Whether you are a beginner or a more experienced artist, this class will help you improve your sketching abilities in a relaxed, natural setting. We will provide all drawing materials, but you will need a sketchbook.
